FIELDS OF EXPERTISE

1- Infertility:
Dr. Abdel-Maguid Ramzy has a long experience in dealing with problems of delayed conception (pregnancy). He has the experience of both medical and surgical treatment modalities of infertility. This includes treatment of ovulation abnormalities. He is considered an expert in laparoscopic surgery to correct problems with tubes and the surrounding structures. He is also one of   the first Egyptian physicians who applied Assisted Reproductive Technology (since 1987). He   has 16 years experience in IVF. He has participated in ART workshops as an instructor both nationally and internationally (reference available).
2- Clinical Gynaecologic Endocrinology:
Dr. Abdel-Maguid Ramzy is well known reference physician in this area. This includes problems with ovulation dysfunction, irregular menstruation, obesity, excessive hair growth, and infertility.
3- OB. & GYN. Ultrasound:
Dr. Abdel-Maguid Ramzy is one of the leading Egyptian Ultrasonographers in his field. He is the pioneer of transvaginal ultrasonographers in Egypt (since 1987). He is a Chief Instructor who has trained OB GYN and Radiology specialists nationally and internationally on the art of ultrasonography. (reference available). He has a some 20 years experience in this field. He is considered an expert in the diagnosis of congenital anomalies in babies early on in pregnancyas well as  intervention ultrasonography (doing surgery through ultrasound guidance). This includes amniocentesis (sampling the fluid around the baby to diagnose congenital abnormalities including Down Syndrome) and ovarian cyst aspiration.
In Assisted Reproduction Techniques Dr. Abdel-Maguid Ramzy has a long experience in dealing with problems of delayed conception (pregnancy). He has the experience of both medical and

He is also one of the first Egyptian physicians who applied Assisted Reproductive Technology (IVF-since 1987). He has about 20 years experience in IVF, treating over 15,000 cases. He has participated in ART workshops as an instructor both nationally and internationally. He is an expert in designing the ART program and controlled ovarian stimulation medications. He performs the ovum pick-up and embryo transfer. He designs the medications and procedures to be done hereafter. He has faced a lot of complications related to ART procedures including Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome and thrombophelias. He is now a teacher, trainer and instructor of all these techniques and he is an acting Consultant for IVF Centers nationwide. Dr. Abdel-Maguid Ramzy is well known reference physician in Reproductive Endocrinology. This includes problems with ovulation dysfunction, irregular menstruation, obesity, excessive hair growth, and infertility.
In Endoscopy He is considered an expert in laparoscopic surgery both diagnostic and operative. He can perform laparoscopic ovarian and uterine surgery quite confidently. He has been in this field since 1986. He is an expert in correcting problems with tubes and the surrounding structures. He had his special training and now instructing on endoscopic suturing.
As for Ultrasonography Dr. Abdel-Maguid Ramzy is one of the leading Egyptian Ultrasonographers in his field. He is the pioneer of transvaginal ultrasonographers in Egypt (since 1987).
