Women's Corner
Mid Life Issues

| Midlife can be the best or the worst time in a woman's life as she experiences many changes within herself and her family. Changes in hormones that control her body, emotions and menstrual cycles can become unbalanced but is no reason for alarm if the woman can understand and learn to accept these changes and learn ways to cope and control the ways she is "maturing". As children grow and leave home the emptiness that a woman experiences can be minimized if she prepares for this day and has maintained a loving relationship with her husband (as he has with her) and they both understand the normal feelings and changes that they are both experiencing. It is to the couple's benefit to understand and learn to accept these changes so that the "golden years" are as rewarding and as enjoyable as when they were young. |
